The building of CollegeDekho identity narrates an original story. While choosing a degree, a student inadvertently picks up his aspirations and future, his dreams and stars!
We created a new logo inspired by this story. Collegedekho helps you pick the course/college just right for you from the galaxy of degrees out there.
The distinct branding project captures dynamics of looking out for College, which is the literal meaning of ‘CollegeDekho’ in Hindi.
We began with creating interfaces that enthuses students and has strikingly different imagery and tone of voice for the category.
trtl created an abrasion of a UI where the menu bar rests on the left edge of the screen and hides to increase the screen area.
The home screen is a feed of handpicked news pieces curated by CollegeDekho team. To get started the user could either scroll or visit any of the pages from the menu.
The CollegeDekho app has pre-installed data on devices to provide access to host of services it offers to their students from their Career Cafe. From checking College info, infrastructure and placements to constructing custom prep plans, getting examination alerts, chatting with future buddies, to, admission and financial assistance and live councelling support.

The chosen colors, Deep Blue with Orange blends together corporate precision with human touch. CollegeDekho thrives to guide students with up-to- date information, authoritative news and views. Bold Sans serif font with rounded angles conveys simplicity and approachability.
We started with an exploration of main Sign Up scenarios and then developed a psychometric test with emphasis on right match between aptitude and aspirations, rather then just academic preferences.
From the Step-by-Step constructor, the user can quickly and effortlessly customize their search and even pick a recommendation set of courses immediately.
In parallel with designing the brand identity, we also established the key style elements. For instance we created a set of over 120 icons.

We built the app to follow closely the User profile and customize the entire information for him. The user journey decides which streams/colleges are best suited for him.
We further created plug’n’use software to build partner College Mobile app. Highly Customizable, available on all platforms with 100+ features and Revenue monetization
Once the user specified their preferences, data, messaging needs and other details, they can immediately move to ‘My List’ which encapsulates ‘Recommended’ and the ‘Buzz’ list where we introduced ‘College Cards’ carrying synopsis of everything to make an informed decision. User can simply swipe to add or reject Colleges.
